20 WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Stars You Totally Don't Remember

11. Shaniqua

Co-winning the second series of WWE's Tough Enough alongside Jackie Gayda, Linda Miles must have thought she'd hit the jackpot. Far from being the stereotypical curvy model the company were usually interested in at the time, Miles looked like she'd been carved from rock. Making her debut in 2002 as herself, Miles went on to have a rather intriguing gimmick. In the Summer of 2003, Miles was recast as 'Shaniqua'. Her character was a dominatrix, and she represented The Basham Brothers. The tag-team were a Smackdown exclusive, but they weren't exactly a big selling point for the brand. Miles had a look WWE fans hadn't been conditioned to expect seeing from females in the promotion, and the team were largely jobbers to the stars. Linda Miles was never given another chance on the main roster. In the midst of her run as manager of The Basham Brothers, she was released from contract in 2004. Her impressive body wasn't enough to help her sustain her spot on the roster, and the Shaniqua character failed to resonate.
