20 WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Stars You Totally Don't Remember

10. Bam Neely

Bam Neely isn't the first wrestler to do little other than perform as an on-screen bodyguard on this list. The big man was Chavo Guerrero's handler during much of 2008, but he'd never really be given any other roles. Storming the ring and putting Kane through a table in April, Neely even looked like Tyson Tomko, and his storyline duties were very much the same as his predecessor. After splitting from Chavo in October, 2008, Neely never really appeared again. This was confusing, because it would have made sense to use the ECW platform to try and launch a new star. WWE's creative team clearly didn't agree, because Bam was released quietly and without much fanfare the following January. When pro wrestling fans look back on WWE history, Bam Neely is not a name that's going to come up too often. His tenure was incredibly brief, and his role so small that many folks probably don't even remember he existed. It's interesting when WWE don't give performers more of a chance, and Neely was definitely someone who fits that bracket.
