20 WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Tag Teams You've Already Forgotten
12. Cryme Tyme
742843Fair point: Cryme Tyme is probably the most memorable team on this list, but I'm including them because the 2015, social media-conscious WWE won't touch their legacy with a ten foot clown pole. After all, Shad Gaspard and JTG were probably the most racist thing WWE had done since the time they put Tony Atlas in a grass skirt and literally had him chuck spears. They were lazy, dishonest, and literally criminal characters that WWE proudly defended as being a parody of racial stereotypes. Well, uh, it wasn't quite Blazing Saddles.
Shad and JTG showed up, participated in every rejected Chappelle's Show sketch WWE could muster, got fired, and then got rehired to be John Cena's jortsmen in a feud with Legacy. Shad would leave soon after to pursue a career in the movies, while JTG would (somehow) remain under contract until 2014.
Today They'd Be: Amazed that WWE has more than one black tag team.
