20 WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Tag Teams You've Already Forgotten
13. Matt Hardy & Tatanka
What do you do if you're only good as part of a tag team, but you're also the Jannetty? Matt Hardy's solution was to team with the hot new rookie of 1992, Tatanka. It's not the ideal replacement for the mega-popular Jeff Hardy, but the actual Jannetty's play was try to convince the world that Al Snow was a sexy tween, so it could have been much worse.
The dream team of Hardy and Tatanka was formed to challenge MNM, one of the era's legitimately great teams. While they did manage to defeat the champs in a non-title match, they fell short when their championship opportunity came. Tatanka would go on to be released, while Hardy would re-team with a returning Jeff, and then with MVP, who was probably (HOT TAKE) his best partner overall.
