20 WWE Stars STRUGGLING Since WrestleMania 40
14. Dijak
In his initial run in NXT from 2018 through most of 2022, Dijak seemed like a major star in the making with the capacity to be a future World champion. All that got turned upside down when he became a member of the horrendous Retribution faction and rebranded T-Bar.
For years, under an awful mask with his terrible name and a go-nowhere gimmick, Dijak served no purpose other than to mostly lose on Main Event—a program even WWE refuses to acknowledge the existence of on their shows page to this day.
When he was sent back to NXT at the tail end of 2022, things started to pick back up for him. He refurbished his character and reestablished himself as a talent that shouldn't be overlooked and had way more untapped potential.
All that seemed to pay off when he was traded back to the main roster in the 2024 WWE Draft, only to wrestle just two matches since. Those were both losses, by the way, and on Main Event and WWE Speed. He's essentially back to square one.
Supposedly, his contract is up at the end of June, and while he's in negotiations to re-sign, there is a chance he ends up released either on his own free will, or by WWE's decision.
