20 WWE Stars STRUGGLING Since WrestleMania 40

13. Damage CTRL

Lately, Iyo Sky keeps screaming in frustration that Damage CTRL needs to change. She couldn't be more right about that!

They've suffered some significant downgrades in the past two months, starting with Sky dropping the WWE Women's Championship to her former stablemate, Bayley, at WrestleMania XL. Soon after, The Kabuki Warriors lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship titles to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

Immediately after that, Asuka's been on the shelf with an injury, and the three remaining active members are all grappling with trying to mount a comeback. However, that's easier said than done, as both Dakota Kai and Sky failed to make it even into the finals, as both were knocked off by Lyra Valkyria. Kairi Sane wasn't even invited to participate at all.

Sky fluctuates with some wins, such as qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match, but is still several notches below where she was two months ago.

Clearly, the success Damage CTRL had over 2023 compared to the current fumbling means the pendulum has swung in the opposite direction. How Sky plans to change Damage CTRL for the better remains to be seen, but she has every right to look down on her teammates.
