20 WWE Superstars That Hacked Off Their Hair
5. Chris Jericho
For as long as fans can probably remember, Lionheart Chris Jericho, whether it was from his days in Mexico, Japan, ECW, WCW, or WWE, had long blonde, rock star looking hair, fittingly enough. Jericho would often play with the hairstyles he would use for his long hair, including braiding and coloring portions of it to change things up.
Since 2007, Chris Jericho has come to the wrestling ring wearing a much shorter hair style than he wore in his 1999 RAW debut. Jericho's made some minor changes to his hair since '07, going a little less clean and a little more punk-rock with it over recent years, but it is a huge change from his early days in the business.
Jericho is far from a large athlete, and coming up during the period when he did required Y2J to stand out in ways other than his size. One of those ways was through his hairstyles, including radical facial hair experiments that Jericho has played with over the years. Whether as Lionheart, Y2J, Save Us, the suit-wearing No Country For Old Men inspiration, or Kevin Owens' best friend, Chris Jericho's appearance has been his own and it's paid off with a Hall Of Fame worthy career.
