20 WWE Superstars That Hacked Off Their Hair

18. Ravishing Rick Rude

Another WWE superstar that cut off their hair towards the end of their WWE run was the Ravishing One, Rick Rude.

Throughout his time in WWE, Rude always had long brown hair. When he first debuted, it was more wavy then curly, but by the time he won the Intercontinental Championship from The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania V, Rick had gone full-on porn perm.

Not by coincidence, Rude looked an adult film star, with his bushy, curly locks and chiseled abs of steel. Constantly showing off his shredded upper body and stealing kisses from the women at ringside only added to the master of the Rude Awakening's sleazy persona.

By the time Rude reignited his feud with the Warrior in the summer of 1990, Rude had not only ditched the perm, he had ditched the long hair entirely. Sporting a medium-length cut that he would slick back, Rick would wear this hairstyle for the duration of his pro-wrestling career. Even in his return to the WWF in 1997 as Shawn Michaels' "insurance policy" and his post-Montreal run in WCW, Rude still had short hair and would keep it for the rest of his life.
