2017 WWE Superstar Shake-Up Ranked - From Worst To Best

If nothing else, Heath Slater found a bittersweet reason to celebrate in 2017. When Darren Young was released at the beginning of November, the 'One-Man Band' found himself standing tall as the only member of Nexus to still be active inside a WWE ring. When you get as little TV time as Heath Slater, even the smallest victories must be accepted.

Heath Slater and Rhyno have been more anonymous than most since the Superstar Shake-Up. The duo have wrestled just seven tag matches since the move, one of which was the utterly dreadful All Hallows Eve Trick or Street Fight against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on Halloween. Just four of those bouts have been two-on-two matches, with an average bell-to-bell time of just two minutes and 48 seconds.

Beauty and the Man-Beast’s move to RAW seems like one of the more pointless switches of the entire Superstar Shake-Up. Much like Hawkins, the duo are enhancement talent these days, but what good is enhancement talent if it isn’t given the chance to enhance anyone?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
