The booking during the fall 2013 season was absolutely atrocious, and it was hard to believe that WWE could f*** Bryan up so badly. It really did feel at times like Vince McMahon was trying to sabotage the popular babyface. It didn't start out too bad, with Bryan regaining the title from Orton at Night Of Champions. But then the very next night, Triple H stripped Byran of the championship, due to a supposed fast count from the referee. Another shorter than short reign, what was the point? The title was then vacant for a month, before Orton and Bryan fought for it at Battleground. The result? A none finish, after Big Show got involved. So they went for the vacant title again at Hell In A Cell, with Shawn Michaels as the special ref. This time Orton won the belt, after Michaels blasted Bryan with Sweet Chin Music. So many Orton matches. So many unsatisfying finishes. What the f*** was going on, was Vince McMahon genuinely sabotaging the most over star he'd had in years?
