9. Cleanly Defeating John Cena For The WWE Title (Then Losing Straight After)
Two WTF moments rolled into one! At SummerSlam 2013, Bryan's popularity saw him wrestling John Cena in the main event for the WWE Championship. Although Bryan's star was on the rise, it was an absolute shocker to see him going over the franchise star cleanly. It was a fantastic pro wrestling match, and a genuinely great moment when the lovable underdog won the title. And then Randy Orton came out to cash in Money In The Bank, with special referee Triple H turning heel on Bryan and nailing him with a Pedigree. The ticker tape had already started to fall and the production crew had left this spot long enough that it felt like a genuine shock. Orton and Hunter's conspiracy meant that Bryan's big moment was painfully short-lived.
