Daniel Bryan's first ever match in WWE was on the very first episode of NXT, which is a pretty cool fact in itself. He was actually one of the key guys to get the now revered "NXT" brand over. But the real WTF for this, is that they put him right in there against one of the biggest stars of the company. It was Bryan versus Chris Jericho, and at the time it felt so surreal. Bryan even tried to do the Ring Of Honor handshake before the match, which was just mind-blowing to see in a WWE ring. It ended up being a good little match, with Bryan showing the selling and technicality that would make him famous. Still, the baby faced clean shaven Bryan didn't look like a star. He did the job and few people watching figured he'd be going anywhere in WWE.
