Another WWE Championship unification match, this time from 2013 when Randy Orton and John Cena met to amalgamate the belts into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship—the same one that is active today.

The match in question was a TLC match, taking place at the eponymous PPV. So even though we’d seen this match approximately 15,000 times, at least it was within a rather different environment.

As expected, tables, ladders and chairs were used, while the bottom rope was also dismantled. This would become a key factor in the finish, when a tug of war ended with Orton launching Cena off the top of a ladder and head-first through a table in the corner.

That was all she wrote for Cena, allowing Orton to scale the ladder once more and retrieve the pair of belts to become the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion…
