And unsurprisingly we keep that long-standing tradition up with our next entry on this list.

In October of 2012, Kofi Kingston and Cesaro faced off on Raw, holding the Intercontinental and United States Championships respectively. Unlike most of the matches on this list though, this one was rather short-lived.

Kingston was announced the winner via disqualification after just over two and a half minutes. The verdict came after the Miz, who’d been on commentary, started laying a beating on the man he had lost to just 24 hours earlier at Hell in a Cell. 20 days later though, all would be forgotten after Miz had turned face and joined Kingston on Team Foley at the Survivor Series.

Kingston and Cesaro would in fact go on to do battle again less than two months later. No prizes for guessing how that one turned out though.
