Raw began with the WWE Champion attempting to weasel his way out of a match with John Cena, and ended with him tapping out to the STF in the middle of the ring. Although the WWE's desire to portray Rollins as a cowardly champion - desperate to hold onto his belt by any means - is understandable, booking him as a losing champ is something entirely different. It's hard to see how Rollins' reputation isn't damaged by this match outcome. Not only did he submit to Cena, he did so almost immediately, after only a brief struggle for the sanctuary of the ropes. This finish will likely be used to set up a SummerSlam encounter between the two, a match Cena will surely now be the favourite to win.
