22 WWE Stars From The 2000s That You Totally Don't Remember
14. Bam Neely
Neely's story is similar to many others on this list. He worked on the indies for a few years, was signed by the WWE based on his height and weight, wrestled in OVW for a while and then was brought up to the main roster. At 6ft6in and 275lbs Neely was always going to be looked at by WWE officials. Unfortunately, while size may have been on his size charisma certainly was not. Neely was totally nondescript and there was no way that he would have done anything of note on his own. Which is why WWE paired him with Chavo Guerrero on ECW. Neely provided the muscle for Chavo (as well as La Familia) and not a lot else. When he had to wrestle singles, his matches were usually totally bland channel-changers. Neely was released from his contract on January 9th 2009. According to his Wikipedia page, he retired in 2010.
