22 WWE Stars From The 2000s That You Totally Don't Remember

6. Manu

Remember Manu, the fourth member of Legacy? Nope? Don't worry, you're not the only one. Manu, son of Wild Samoan Afa Anoa'i and cousin to Rikishi and Umaga, was only in the company for a cup of coffee. He trained in FCW from 2006 until September 2008, when he was called up to the main roster. Manu debuted (for the second time - he worked a match with Jim Duggan on Heat in late 2007) at Unforgiven, joining Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and Randy Orton. Manu only made a few in-ring appearances over the next couple of months, and he usually did the job. Orton grew tired (in the storyline) with the group's losing ways and set up 'test' matches for each. If they lost, they would be kicked out of the group. Manu lost his test match with Matt Hardy. Manu formed a team with Sim Snuka (another short-lived Legacy member) and a feud between them and Rhodes and DiBiase was planned but never materialised. Manu was released on February 23rd, 2009. Orton claimed in an interview shortly after that it was because of his attitude and the fact he didn't feel like he had to pay his dues on the main roster. Other reports stated that WWE didn't like his look and weren't thriller with his ring work, either. They were right: both sucked.
