Roger Kirby wrestled for the WWF a few times himself, most notably against Ricky Steamboat on what was only the second episode of Wrestling Challenge in 1986. Away from the company, he was known as the second man behind Buddy Rogers to work the 'Nature Boy' gimmick.

Obviously, he didn't reach the levels of fame Ric Flair has, but Kirby did amass a 26-year career before passing aged 79 on 18 March.
