2. League Of Nations

Although League of Nations made their WWE debut as a faction in November 2015, a better part of their time together was spent in 2016. And what a terrible tenure it was.

The idea of a stable featuring Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio sounded excellent on paper, but none of them meant anything at the time they joined forces. Consequently, fans didn't see them as legitimate threats to anyone on the roster, especially Roman Reigns. Barrett even admitted in an interview following his departure from the company that they were put together for the sole purpose of getting Reigns over as a dominant babyface.

They were beaten by Reigns on a near weekly basis in the first few months of the year before failing to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship from The New Day on several occasions. Although they were on the winning end of a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 32, they were then embarrassed by a bunch of WWE Hall of Famers as well as The Wyatt Family.

The group exiled Barrett from the group on the next night's Raw, but it was too little, too late for them to be salvaged. Once Bray Wyatt's injury caused the entire Family to be taken off TV, League of Nations were left without a feud and instead went their separate ways soon after.
