1. The Shining Stars

Of everyone who debuted in WWE this year, whether they were signed from other promotions or were called up from NXT, no one had a weaker arrival than The Shining Stars.

Fans thought it couldn't get any worse for Primo and Epico once their Los Matadores gimmick died a painful death, but after being kept off WWE TV for several months, they were repackaged and brought back as The Shining Stars, a tag team that sells timeshares in Puerto Rico. As you could probably imagine, the gimmick wasn't going to get over at all from the moment their premiere vignette aired the night after WrestleMania 32.

In their first bout back on Raw in May, they wrestled a pair of local athletes, a match the live crowd sat on their hands for. I was almost certain you could hear the air conditioning in the building on in the background. Thus, it wasn't surprising whatsoever that they didn't wrestle on Raw for another two months after that, and when they returned to action on the July 25 episode, they swiftly lost to Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

In no form or fashion are The Shining Stars considered threats to the Raw Tag Team Championship, so why they continue to appear on Raw as regularly as they do, we'll never know.
