25 Hidden Gem PPVs To Watch On WWE Network

15. Extreme Rules 2011

Extreme Rules 2012 stands out as the best of the extreme batch but its predecessor, the 2011 edition of the show ranks as one of the more underrated and underappreciated shows in WWE history. The main event alone is worth seeking the event out for as John Cena and The Miz make up for a dreadfully boring WrestleMania 27 main event with a phenomenal steel cage WWE Championship match that also includes the outstanding John Morrison. With high drama and thrilling spots, the contest is everything a fan could ask in a PPV main event. Christian and Alberto Del Rio waged war over the vacant World Heavyweight Championship in a Ladder match in the night's co-main event while Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole continued their feud in a tag match pitting Lawler and Jim Ross against Cole and Jack Swagger. Randy Orton and CM Punk set the bar high for the rest of the night's events with a brilliant Street Fight while Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes continued their rivalry with a strong Last Man Standing match. This was the first of the Extreme Rules pay-per-views to eclipse WrestleMania in terms of quality.
