25 Lamest WWE SummerSlam Moments Of All Time

19. Batista Versus The Great Khali - SummerSlam 2007

A match between Batista and The Great Khali was already signed for The Great American Bash when World Heavyweight Champion Edge tore his pectoral muscle and was forced to vacate the title. A twenty-man battle royal was made for Smackdown, and Khali emerged victorious to claim his first (and only) World Heavyweight Championship. The Bash match became a title bout and Kane was added, with Khali pinning "The Big Red Machine" to retain.

Khali and Batista went one-on-one at SummerSlam -- the second most important Pay-Per-View event of the year, it should be reiterated. Batista won by disqualification in under seven minutes when Khali used a steel chair, intentionally getting disqualified to end a terrible match. It was hardly an acceptable semi-main event, and worst of all, the Batista-Khali feud would continue for another two months.
