25 'WWE Superstars' Matches That Were Actually Awesome

15. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler (May 20, 2010)

Given how long both competitors have been in WWE together, it's amazing to think that they've only faced off a handful of times. One of their few matches against each other took place on the May 20, 2010 edition of 'Superstars'. They didn't have much storyline support, but that didn't stop them from having a highly enjoyable match. This was around the time that both Christian and Ziggler were floundering in the SmackDown midcard, so neither competitor had much going on for them outside of their great matches. As one would only expect from Christian and Ziggler, they worked an entertaining back-and-forth bout that saw both guys looking like equals by the end of it. Ziggler was still trying to prove himself as a star on the rise, while Christian silenced the critics by having another standout performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u4H_o9PTms When the smoke cleared, Christian was the one standing tall, but it wasn't long after this match that Ziggler had his first taste of gold in WWE in the form of the Intercontinental Championship.
