25 Years Of WWE Raw Mistakes

Stone Cold Steve Austin's comeback had already driven WWE into a creative cul-de-sac, but the transfer of his vehicular vengeance from Rikishi to Triple H had wider (and stupider) implications on the rest of the talent pushed into the background.

Their dreadful Survivor Series main event made mugs of Hunter's Radicalz goon squad, especially when Austin brushed them off and attempted murder on 'The Game' by locking him in a car and dropping it from a crane.

That this act of revenge effectively made Austin as bad as Triple H didn't register with the writers, nor did the concept that he might be physically wrecked by the incident. Hunter returned to television without a scratch eight days later to stop Austin easily defeat WWE Champion Kurt Angle. The Olympian - like Rikishi and The Radicalz before him - was another innocent victim of the programme.
