Head Coach: Jonathan Hayes

In 1985, Hayes was a Tight End out of the University of Iowa drafted in the 2nd round by the Kansas City Chiefs. His first coaching job was under Bob Stoops in Oklahoma (more on him later). He spent 15 years coaching tight ends for the Cincinnati Bengals under Marvin Lewis. The Battlehawks will be his first time as a head coach although he'll have help from his former quarterback at Iowa: Chuck Long, serving as offensive coordinator. Former St. Louis Ram Az-Zahir Hakim will coach the receivers.

Quarterback: Taylor Heinicke

Henicke was a four-year started at Old Dominion University. He went undrafted in 2015, but spent his rookie season as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. After a stop on the New Englad Patriots practice squad, he'd make his NFL debut in 2017 with the Houston Texans. He started his first game the next season with the Carolina Panthers. He might not even see the field, backing up former Ole Miss QB, Jordan Ta'amu

Punter: Marquette King

Undrafted in 2012, King caught on with the Oakland Raiders and spent five seasons as one of the best punters in the NFL. He led the league in punt yards in 2014, and was named to the All-Pro team in 2016. King is also only the fifth black punter in NFL history. Notorious for his celebrations and penalties, Jon Gruden cut him within months of returning as the Raider's head coach. King signed with the Denver Broncos with a chance to play against his former team twice a year, but didn't finish the first season, landing on injured reserve. He's been out of the NFL since 2018.

**Also look for RB Matt Jones (Redskins) and RB Christine Michael (Seahawks).
