3 New AEW Signings Confirmed

AEW's roster expansion continues with a trio of new faces.

All Elite Wrestling has signed manager Mark Sterling and tag team Bear Country, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

Sterling took on a new role as Jade Cargill's manager on last week's episode of Dynamite. Having vied for Cargill's services with the likes of Matt Hardy and Vickie Guerrero over the preceding weeks, Sterling was unveiled alongside Jade ahead of her match with KiLynn King, which Cargill won handily.

In their backstage segment, it was explained that Sterling and Cargill have struck a deal that stipulates Sterling will only be paid when his charge wins.

2020 saw Sterling feature as MJF's lawyer in the latter's feud with Jon Moxley. He wrestled the former AEW World Champion on the show's 2 September episode, falling in a five-minute main event.

Bear Country (Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder), meanwhile, are a rising powerhouse tag team who have been in the AEW system since December 2020, when they debuted opposite Evil Uno and Stu Grayson on Dark. Boulder has been out of action since early April, sidelined by an undisclosed injury.

Bronson has continued as a singles wrestler in his partner's absence, going 0-3 on Dark and Dark: Elevation.
