3 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 25)

1. The Bad Or Pet Peeve?

QT Marshall AEW
AEW

This fan isn't quite sure why Tony Khan has such a fascination with showcasing titles from other promotions on his own programming. AEW kinda got away with it due to QT Marshall's promo work earlier in the show (more on that to come), but still. Letting other companies gobble up airtime so consistently is a bit much.

Regrettably, that wasn't the only problem QT's AAA Latin American Championship defence suffered from. Gravity took his Rampage bow and lost out to Marshall in just shy of 10 minutes. Debuting newer talent to your audience is fine, but not following up on them is unacceptably shoddy stuff.

Gravity will presumably suffer this fate.

He's had around a handful of matches for AEW now, and all of them have ended in defeat. A pattern has formed, and it's becoming harder and harder to take the masked man seriously as a threat. Yes, even to QT. Decent match, but totally meh segment.
