3 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage: Winter Is Coming (Dec 15 - Results & Review)

2. The Upside

Dante Martin Komander

Rampage's headliner got rave reviews from people who were in attendance live and online. Rightly so in some respects; it might not be this fan's cup of tea personally, but it'd be an outright lie to say the match wasn't an impressive stunt show (especially when Dante Martin and Komander were in the ring).

See the 'Downs' for a humble complaint about dizzying non-stop bumps without selling. That's valid, but the balance and precision on some of these hits was astonishing stuff. Chris Jericho kinda over-egged the proverbial pudding by calling it one of the best matches he's ever seen, but over-enthusiasm on comms is 100% better than none at all.

Another point: It's just really cool to see Dante back in there doing his thing. He suffered a serious injury that kept him out for far too long, and it's incredible to see him fly around the place without fear after something that could've ended his career in an instant.

Those who love these non-stop trios matches will adore what they find here.
