3 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Feb 1)
Downs...
3. No Meaning
There was a match featured in the latter half of show between Fallah Bahh and Mexico's own Psycho Clown that sort of just happened without an actual reason. These sorts of matches are absolutely fine in wrestling when they're being used to establish someone within the company, but that wasn't the case here. It was generally two guys just fighting for the sake of fighting.
It wasn't a bad match as such, just slightly pointless. The pair have good chemistry together and put on an enjoyable match for everyone in attendance, so that's all you can really ask them for. Psycho Clown came out on top (they're in Mexico after all), and that was just it. Nothing too interesting at all.
A backstage segment post-match revealed that there will be an upcoming Team Impact vs. Team AAA bout, so it was likely just a prelude to build to that in a few weeks' time. If AAA want the edge heading into the match though, they should maybe look further than Fallah Bahh to prove their dominance. He's not exactly the biggest name on the active Impact roster.
