3 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Nov 8)

2. The End?

Eddie Edwards and Moose's rivalry has had plenty of ups and downs in itself and, despite being quite personal, there's no proper story behind it other than the fact Moose turned his back on Edwards. A singles match at Bound For Glory ended in around three minutes, leaving one of the most heavily-hyped matches on the card feeling quite meaningless. Would a rematch between the duo prove any different?

As it turns out, no.

Most of what we saw in the match was pure dominance from Moose's part, including a nasty looking powerbomb on to the ramp. This bout was supposed to further the story so that a final match (perhaps with some sort of big stipulation) could be set up for the near future, likely at the Homecoming pay-per-view in January. Instead, it just showed that Moose is a big man that gives out big spears. Like we didn't already know that.

Going forward, the two can either continue bickering amongst one another or they can move on to other things for the time being. Whichever option, we can all agree that Moose will be benefiting more from it.
