3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Battle Of The Belts IV

1. FTR Delivers As Always

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are almost incapable of putting on bad matches. Their love and dedication to the art of tag-team wrestling shines through every single time, and it was no different when they worked the Gates Of Agony duo here.

Toa Liona and Kaun are worth seeing if you've never had the pleasure.

This was watertight, old-school tag rasslin from beginning to end, and it's hard to argue with that sort of thing. No, the ROH Tag belts were realistically never changing hands on Friday, but the match was still class. It looks like there's another big multi-man coming between The Embassy and FTR/Wardlow/Samoa Joe too.

Tony Khan put FTR in this spot for a reason. The AEW boss knew Dax and Cash would deliver a fine wrestling match and send everyone watching away with a smile on their face. That might be masking the truth about BOTB, but good pro wrestling is good pro wrestling regardless of the booking surrounding it.
