3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 12)

2. Mixed Tag Goodness

Yep, AEW programming could probably do without another set of titles, especially another company's belts. That said, the AAA mixed tag pitting Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo vs. Dante Martin and Skye Blue was a riot from first bell to last. Not...riot in a bad way, for the record.

Everything they did was seriously slick.

Mixed tags can sometimes be a bit of a chore, but everybody worked hard and kept the energy up (even through the 90-second picture-in-picture, which is unusual) here. Hometown boy Dante got lots of time to show off his high-flying skills too, and this fan could personally go some more of him vs. Sammy on TV.

They work so well together, and so does the Melo/Skye combination. Despite never being a true threat to the titles, Martin and Blue complemented one another well and were one half of Rampage's best bout. Such a tidy little TV match.
