3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 24)

1. No 'A' Stories For The ‘B’ Show

The Firm Matt Hardy

Rampage should be a complement to Dynamite. It should be where fans go to get more AEW when they can't get enough. The Friday night weekly should bolster the biggest stories in the company whilst spotlighting those that might not get enough house room on Wednesdays.

Yeah, it should, but it doesn't.

The program comes across like an afterthought most weeks, which is a shame and a total waste of potential/valuable airtime. Some of the 'B' stories, like Matt Hardy's business with The Firm', aren't strong enough to carry things on their own. Where in the name of living f*ck is the AEW World Champion on these broadcasts?!

MJF never appears on Rampage, and current top challenger Bryan Danielson hasn't been on the show in a while himself. Hell, most other champs cycle on and off the thing like they've been insulted by being booked on it. No wonder ratings are in the toilet.
