3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage: Holiday Bash (Dec 23)

3. Trustbusters For Erm…Life

So, Parker Boudreaux is chumming around with Swerve Strickland's new Mogul Affiliates group and Ari Daivari has randomly started hanging with Mark Sterling's Varsity Athletes. Have AEW's decision-makers completely given up on The Trustbusters then?

This is why nobody cares about them or any of their members; guys like Ari just sort of float around the place plugging gaps. He was blatantly only linked with Josh Woods and Tony Nese because they needed a partner to make up the numbers in that 'Trios Battle Royale'.

Great, now what?

Don't expect to see Daivari teaming with Nese or Woods permanently. They might've been wearing gear that matched (sort of), but they won't be troubling The Elite or Death Triangle at the top of the Trios Title tree. This was a one-off, and a hellish random one.
