3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 26)

2. An Upgrade

Matt Jeff Hardy Isiah Kassidy Hook
AEW

Your writer has been hitting this Hardy Boyz vs. Ethan Page/The Firm feud over the head with unprotected steel chair shots for a long time now. So, it's time to give some credit where it's definitely due: AEW throwing Hook in as a replacement for Isiah Kassidy is a nifty upgrade on the Private Party man.

Fans were into that live.

Sure, this contract stuff is still a pain in the t*ts, but it'll hopefully be over soon. Unless The Hardys and Hook win at DoN, that is. Oh sh*t, this is going until the end of 2023...isn't it? Isn't it?! Seriously though, one can't argue with Tony Khan upgrading on Kassidy and at least trying to make the match more interesting.

Hook is a way better option than Isiah and his sex noises, that's for sure. Plus, again, the fans there for Rampage seemed to get a kick out of seeing him fist bump with his teammates then chase off the heels. Slick segment all round.
