3 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 5)

Downs...

4. Too Soon?

Max Caster Anthony Bowen The Acclaimed
AEW

This writer doesn't want to turn this into some "I'm offended" thing. That's not the case here. Max Caster's comments about John Laurinaitis being Bryan Danielson's father in law who kills careers was close to the bone, but it's hardly the first time someone has said a shoot-style, off-the-cuff comment like that.

Nah, this guy has more of a problem with AEW mentioning WWE.

Taz heaped fuel on the fire by saying that Tony Khan might even start liking The Acclaimed if they kept that sort of thing up. What, because they took a smart-arsed verbal dump on the competition about recent releases, Tony (who is feuding with Caster and Anthony Bowens) might become friends with them?

Jesus, that mentality makes AEW look so small time. Sorry, but it does. Bareknuckled comments are one thing, but suggesting that the owner will ditch his kayfabe vendetta against a tag-team because they're shooting on another real-life promotion is messy and unnecessary.
