1. Bravo Johnny

The two championship matches at Rebellion were on display in the main event as World Champion Johnny Impact and Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie were victorious over their respective challengers Brian Cage and Jordynne Grace. Was it a clean win? No. How you ask? Because referee Johnny Bravo got involved.

Yay?

What was the actual point in this? Apparently, Bravo has refereed all the previous bouts between Impact and Cage, all of which resulted in some sort of controversial outcome. Management clearly didn’t pick up on the shenanigans being used by Impact and Bravo until now but to be fair, neither did anybody else. It was a weird closing image to the episode, seeing a referee celebrating with the two champions.

Surely this means Johnny won’t be refereeing the pair’s match at Rebellion. Unless he just does? Only time will tell. For now though, we get to have a random referee aligned with two of the biggest names in the company because why not.
