Sami Callihan’s promo this week towards Rich Swann was exceptionally good, as is the case with the bulk of promos from members of oVe. Every word from Callihan was said with such conviction that you just had to agree with everything he was saying.

He stated that Swann would’ve died in his hometown had Callihan not been there for him, and that oVe could’ve given him everything. Rich already has the X Division Championship – what more could he have wanted from? Then again, having a group like oVe watching your back would ensure that championship reign continues for as long as possible. So perhaps Sami did actually have a point there.

The duo’s championship contest at Rebellion is sure to be an excellent encounter, like you’d expect anything other from these two. However, whether or not it’s a straight up singles contest with no outside shenanigans is a whole different question.
