3 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE NXT UK Prelude (8 April)
3. The Real Jack Starz
Stop this.
Jack Starz will never be NXT UK Champion. Jack Starz will never be NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion. Jack Starz will never be NXT UK Tag Team Champion. Hell, Jack Starz may never win an NXT UK match ever again. It’s as simple as that; he’s been booked as NXT UK’s Barry Horowitz for far too long to the extent that WWE can’t just begin to book him properly.
Shoved into a mismatched alliance with Piper Niven because why the f*ck not, Starz was again shown working out aggressively at the UK Performance Center. According to Niven, the new and improved Jack Starz is ready to fight next week.
Genuinely, this had better be worth it, or else what’s the point? Niven could be doing so much better than this. Just because she lost a handful of Women’s Championship bouts to Kay Lee Ray doesn’t mean she can’t be doing something else, literally anything else, in the women’s division. Give her Meiko Satomura, not make her Jack Starz’ training partner.
