3 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 2)

5. Sure, Have Another Non-AEW Title!

Hikaru Shida
AEW

You've heard the complaints about AEW having too many belts, so have some more. Literally. Have more belts. Hikaru Shida is bringing her Regina di Wave (from Pro Wrestling Wave) Title to All Elite programming next week, but the company failed to explain exactly why.

She just decided to put it up for grabs vs. The Bunny.

This may sound incredibly harsh, but yours truly shrugged his shoulders when Shida held her prize aloft (the lighting was terrible, for the record) and said it'd be on Rampage next week. Seeing some indy title randomly being defended on AEW TV with little build up is hardly an ultra-exciting tease that'll draw viewers in.

Countless others have said it, but Tony Khan would be doing himself a massive favour if he started exclusively focusing on All Elite's championships come the new year. ROH can get some spotlight occasionally, but everyone else? Nah.
