3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE NXT UK (6 May)
Ups...
3. Nathan's Heritage
Your writer will say this for as long as he lives; in today’s age, talk shows are hard skits are hard to execute on a professional wrestling show, even more so when there’s no audience to bounce off of. That said, Noam Dar, Sha Samuels, and Nathan Frazer still delivered something decent.
Frazer was saying all the usual babyface schtick about how he’s had to work hard to get to where he is, detailing the name change from Ben Carter to Nathan Frazer, but it’s Noam and Sha who were the stars here.
Dar noted how he never had to hide anything from anyone, whereas Samuels went off on Nathan. ‘The East-End Butcher’ made scathing remarks about how Frazer isn’t even a ‘proper’ British wrestler despite having the British flag in his entrance video. All credit to Sha for this, seeing as Nathan only had one match in England prior to signing with NXT UK. The rest of his career went down in the United States.
It all ended in a Heritage Cup Rules bout between Noam and Nathan being scheduled for next Thursday. A certified banger waiting to happen.
