3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 24)

Ups...

3. That Solid Six-Man

Viking Raiders annihilation aside, the opening segment was a pure winner.

GUNTHER's backup in Imperium may never get the credit it richly deserves in WWE circles. Both Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci add so much to the IC Champ's overall package, and those boys can work rings round most tags in the company without breaking a sweat. In short, they're awesome.

Across the ring, the Braun Strowman and Ricochet unit continues to gel, and even Madcap Moss had a place here after challenging GUNTHER for the belt recently. Oh yes, this was a tasty six-man match for sure, and it kicked SmackDown off with a real bang. Not a 'Banger Bro' though, because that's just dirty.

This fan can see WWE lumping Imperium, Braun/Rico, The Viking Raiders, New Day and possibly another team or two into some sort of number one contenders battle at WrestleMania. It'd be a thinly-veiled excuse to get them on the card, but it'll probably happen.
