3 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 25)
3. Change The Record
Bayley is heading for a third consecutive pay-per-view title shot against Bianca Belair despite already losing twice. If that doesn't scream 'the women's division on SmackDown needs an overhaul', then nothing will. The brand has just seven active ladies right now following recent cuts, and one of them (Sonya Deville) doesn't even wrestle.
Worse, two others are the reigning Women's Tag Champs and spend most of their time on Raw. Natalya and Tamina don't have anyone to feud with on Fridays, to be fair. That's WWE's fault though! They surely can't expect Bayley and Bianca to produce the goods yet again when everyone is bored of their story.
It's overkill, and it runs the risk of killing Bayley stone dead as a heel. For example, where the hell does she go if she cackles for a few weeks before Money In The Bank and then loses yet another title match to Belair on pay-per-view?
