The Raw after WrestleMania has traditionally been a show where we see huge debuts and returns, as NXT superstars get called up, injured wrestlers return, and new signees come directly to the red brand. It’s usually an exciting, exhilarating night.

But that magic appears to be gone, as the only surprise appearance we got Monday night was a returning Matt Riddle, who got a pretty good reaction, but then proceeded to brawl briefly with WrestleMania punching bag the Miz without saying much of anything. They could have just as easily had him walk out on stage and announce he was back and leave, and it would have been the same effect.

All the talk about NXT call-ups or returning wrestlers panned out to one guy showing up for the first time in four months, being pulled from TV to enter rehab.
