3 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 26)

1. More Orton/McIntyre! Goodie!

Oh look, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre closed out Raw beating on each other. Again!

After three months and a title change, you’d think WWE would have found a way to separate these two men at least for a week or two. It looked like they were trying by having McIntyre tangle with Miz, and setting the table for Orton to face off against Bray Wyatt.

But Raw faded to black on Orton pounding on McIntyre on the announce desk. They teased the Fiend getting involved and at least adding a new element to this awful feud, but instead, he just acted like a guardrail, preventing Orton from fleeing rather than as someone involved… yet.

Worse, none of this likely will matter, because we have Survivor Series coming up, and that means we must focus on the inter-brand champion versus champion matches rather than the intra-brand feuds.

And then it’s December and the holidays, and suddenly it’s Royal Rumble season, which leads into WrestleMania… so we’re getting a five-month reign with a returning Edge ending it aren’t we?
