Pete Rose ending his WrestleMania career with his head half up Rikishi's cavernous caboose came partly as a result of a ban on Kane's Tombstone, but he'd become such a fun fixture that this 'Show Of Shows' would have been much worse without him.
Decking Kane after using a mystery accomplice in last year's San Diego Chicken outfit, Rose was rapidly outgunned yet again and took his final beating in grand style.
The trifecta didn't get him forgiven by much of the baseball community for the betting scandals that engulfed his career, but did earn him a spot in WWE's 2004 Hall Of Fame celebrity wing. Few inductees were as deserving.
