3 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (27 Jul - Results & Review)
2. Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling

By next week, no one will remember Ethan Page versus Rey Mysterio from Monday night, but on the evening, this was a good little match.
That really shouldn’t be surprising given the quality of the two wrestlers. Rey continues to be a reliable performer – when healthy – producing entertaining matches with a variety of opponents. And Page similarly has been reliable in the ring since debuting on the main roster, which bodes well for him, even if a world title isn’t in the cards.
Page managed to counter some of Mysterio’s high-flying antics, but Rey continued to fight back, including a turn-back-the-clock diving hurricanrana from the top rope to the floor. All Ego managed to recover enough to use the apron skirt to deflect a 619, then followed it up with an Ego-plex for the win.
As with the Je’Von Evans victory over Rusev, there’s a good chance that this win doesn’t mean anything in the long term, but there was so little to really enjoy on this episode, so we’ll just keep this one positive.
