3 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 11)

6. Tag Champ, Challenger Are Idiots

You can try to call it “mind games,” but what we witnessed during the conflict between Riddle and Omos (and their tag partners) was just stupidity that made one member of each team look like an idiot, another look like a slow giant, and the other an unfeeling jerk.

Riddle was an idiot, not necessarily for his nonsensical promo, but for being so clueless that he thought Randy Orton was going to jump Omos. He then got annihilated, looking like a complete jobber to Omos. Afterwards, AJ Styles looked like an idiot getting laid out again by Orton.

Omos was duped, going outside the ring to head off an Orton sneak attack – and he failed at that one task. And then there’s Randy, who didn’t accompany his tag partner into a 2-on-1 situation, only showing up well afterwards to attack AJ – and he’s the babyface!

How any of this is supposed to make fans excited to see a tag match between these four is beyond comprehension. And WWE has managed to take RK-Bro, once one of the better parts of Raw, and turn them into a sideshow you wouldn’t miss if they disappeared for a couple of weeks.
