3 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Raw (May 24)

5. Not Special Anymore

Charlotte Flair Asuka

Remember when Asuka versus Charlotte Flair was a WrestleMania worthy match? Well, now it’s just another match on Raw to fill a couple of segments.

The Empress and the Queen tangled on Monday night in their third singles match in the past five weeks. Yep, it was just another match between two of the top women in WWE as a means for Charlotte to try to get her groove back.

What made this even more nonsensical is that Flair won, and this was sold as the Queen being dominant and on course for a title match. But that ignores that she lost last week to Asuka… and at WrestleMania Backlash… and in a six-woman tag match two weeks ago… and to Asuka last month.

But yeah, sign Charlotte up for a title match now.
