3 Ups And 4 Downs From WCPW Loaded Episode 11

2. The Tale Of The Tape

Adam Blampied Faints
Oli Sandler / The Ringside Perspective

One of the more unusual - but most anticipated - matches at Refuse to Lose pits Rampage against the man whom he's wanted to get his hands on for months, his former manager Adam Blampied. Needless to say, this street fight is an epic mismatch, and the whole thing is clearly set up to have somebody (or multiple people) more qualified interfere on Blampied's behalf.

That didn't make the training video for the bout any less entertaining, though. The parts with Rampage were what you'd expect - lifting weights, hitting a heavy bag, destroying sparring partners - but they made for a great juxtaposition with Blampied's training. The leader of BX was delightfully inept, struggling to land punches on a tackling dummy and falling backward when trying to catch a medicine ball.

Some parts were over the top - like when Blampied struggled to lift the smallest dumbbell in the gym - but it was still really well done. All in all, a fun video that was reminiscent of Vince McMahon's attempts to train for the 1999 Royal Rumble.
